Outfit of the Day

Today's outfit is causal... I did the mom thing today. Cleaned the house, took my preschooler to gymnastics, took my other daughter to the doctor's, and then tonight I have a meeting with my church group. Easy, comfortable, inexpensive with a bit of style...

Strip top- Walmart
Jeans Merona Brand- Target
Pink boat shoes- Walmart

All items between $15-20.

If the weather was cooler I could add a jacket and to dress up the outfit more I could wear booties or heels (though I usually don't dress up much... often too tired to go out at night but there is always date night:)

Monday Work Outfit

On Monday's and Wednesday's I work as a teacher's aide for the first grade.  I LOVE this job! The children are adorable and it is so cool to seem them learn and grow so much.  The outfit I wore today was professional and comfortable. I was able to sit at circle time (comfortably I may add) and bend over while looking appropriate (no inappropriate cleavage-no thank you)

Love in the pinterest photo she paired it with colorful pants and a big chunky necklace. Definitely will add that in the future.

Khaki Pants- Target (few years ago)
Black cardigan- Target
Polka dot top- Wet Seal (I know, Wet Seal but it is a really cute top) though sheer and must wear a camisole underneath which is again from Target.
Black Flats- Payless

All these items were purchased a few years ago. I would say all around $20 or so.

It's getting cooler up here in the Boston area. Time to pull out the boots and flannel shirts. I had a fun weekend of outdoor fun with the family. This is truly my favorite time of the year!

Next time I'll add the puffer vest (not quite cold enough for that yet)

Flannel shirt- Walmart
Jeans Lei brand (super comfortable)- Walmart
Brown Boots- Payless (had these boots for 3 years now, my absolute favorite)

Walmart items around $16
Payless boots around $40

For Love of Walmart....

I am starting this new blog about my daily fashion. I am a mother of two children and live on a moderate budget. I chose to buy inexpensive clothes because it really suites my needs and you can still look good. Most people have no idea! I don't have time or extra money to constantly dry clean and take extra care of my clothes. And since I am a mom, spills and stains are inevitable. I don't even sweat it anymore. For so long I would buy expensive items and never wear them because I was afraid I would ruin them. A lot of them were left in my closet with tags never cut off and never worn:(

Some of my favorite places to buy clothes are Walmart, Target, Marshals, Payless, and Burlington Coat Factory to name a few... So come join me on my daily fashion blog. Hopefully you can get some ideas... And we can make fashion fun, inexpensive and easy!

Day 1

Today was a day full of errands; clean the house, do laundry, go grocery shopping, returns, etc...
I wanted to wear something comfortable and since it's starting to get cooler in New England this top was perfect for our fall weather.  To dress up this outfit up even more I could of worn boots similar to the pinterest photo (stay tuned...)
Flower Top-Walmart
Jeans Lei brand- Walmart
Canvas shoes- Payless

In further post I will try to include the prices. This one I forgot them but I would guess each item was around $15-20.
